AMETHYST AUTOGRAPH / PROSERPINE'S PENDULUM

The night after i finish the first draft of this drawing, i have a vision.
I am sitting on a wooden bench in a giant egyptian mausoleum/chamber they just discovered.
Two gods on the other side of the chamber are sitting on a platform, in royal thrones.
On the left is Osiris, and on the right is his wife, not Isis, the voice tells me, but "the other one, Proserpine".
She is wearing a headdress, but instead of the outwards or upwards horns of Isis, hers are inwards, like a crescent. Inside the crescent is an upwards triangle, not a disc.
They are presiding over a ritual.
A gold chain is hanging from the ceiling, a hundred feet above our heads. At its end is attached a huge ball of translucent glass-like stone, looking like crystal. Its diameter is larger than a man.
The sphere, or pendulum, swings in wild and seemingly random directions at a great speed. It sometimes bounces on the walls, and never breaks.
As it passes before my eyes i can see the goddess through it, in a slightly purple hue, and clearer. The voice tells me that it's because the sphere is amethyst.
I wonder when the chain will break. The pendulum never loses velocity. The goddess seems to channel the earth's energy, gravity, towards the sphere. The chain coils itself three times around a huge beam crossing the room at a slanted angle, and then uncoils itself, in reverse, without losing speed.
Then the pendulum detaches itself from the chain, and bounces up and down at an even higher speed.
It slows down as i start to fear it will fall on us and crush us to death.
It stops bouncing and rolls slowly towards me, then stops at my feet.
The goddess tells me to pick it up and take care of it, meaning, place it where is must be placed and ensure it is safe.
I pick up the giant stone sphere and in my arms it becomes a hedgehog of similar dimensions.
The hedgehog's back is soft, furry, it does not prick my arms as i carry it to the sacred platform.
There i place it in a wooden structure that looks like an open book or a lectern, which i then store on a very high shelf amongst similar items, near the roof.

I am then i an adjacent room where my lover overlooks artworks and their placement on a wooden wall.
For each artist, there is "a painting, a drawing and an "autograph"". That drawing (above) is an "autograph". That means it is an objective record of an event that can only take place in one single space-time window. The event it depicts is the ritual i just described.

( therefore it should be assumed every element of the vision is present in some way in the drawing. especially the elements that are not obvious, unknown to the reader, hidden in the symbols. the arm on her arm, the two different skulls, the fire and the tree, the dead, the living, the square (man), the cricle (universe), the triangle (divinity), the light, the motion, the stillness, the fractures, the completion. )

When i wake up the name of the goddess, Proserpine, seems to make no sense in that dream.
Then i remember that it is the roman name for Persephone, Demeter's daughter, "stolen" from the earth's surface by Hades to become his wife and live with him in the realm of the dead in fall and winter.
In some rare visual depictions of Proserpine/Pershephone, she is wearing a crescent on her forehead, like Artemis, to whom she is associated. I did not know that before the dream.
Neither did i know that amethyst is a stone sacred to Artemis, and means the stone that sobers, ie clears the vision.

As Osiris reigns over the underworld, it makes sense she would be by his side.
Unlike his usual wife Isis, she has no motherhood trait to her. The horns are short and pointed inwards.
She bears the moon's crescent, so is part lunar. But she rules the Gold chain, probably wired to the sun, high above.
She also carries the triangle. The divine emblem. The symbol for sulphur, fire, sun, male.
The crescent is symbol for mercury, water, moon, female.
Thus she embodies the completion of the alchemical process, union of the fire and liquid. She is both male and female, solar and lunar.

now the question : why do i have to unroll the sphere (hedgehog opening) and carry it away ?
